40 years for the Lloydminster Interval Home Society

From the beginning, we have been dedicated to providing safety, support, and education by empowering the children, youth, adults, and communities we serve. We now want to take the opportunity to highlight the hard work, perseverance, resilience, and courage of those we serve, the organization, and the incredible supporters who have made this journey possible!

A Little Of Our Story

How Did We Come To Be?

The idea of a “home for women in crisis” in Lloydminster was a vision created between Dolores Cummine and Marge Nattress and other concerned community members in 1979.
In June 1980, an empty house was donated along with a cheque for $3000.00 from the Nelson Foundation to pay for one year’s rent.
