At the Interval Home, there’s plenty going on, and plenty to learn.


Through information, group discussion, activities and self-reflection, women are empowered to discover their strengths, identify healthy choices and make positive changes in their lives. Participants receive support and gain awareness which strengthens them to live a violence-free lifestyle based on safety, respect, and equality in their relationships.

This is a 10 week program. Wednesdays, morning or evening sessions. Child Care is available for children, 0-6 yrs., whose mothers attend the morning group.

Building on the learning from Self-Empowerment 1, women are helped to put new thinking and healthy strategies into practice. Group participants explore topics such as communication, self-esteem, anger and boundaries in a supportive, engaging environment.

6 weeks, morning or evening sessions. Child Care is available for children, 0-6 yrs., whose mothers attend the morning group.

Participants must have completed S.E. 1 to participate in this group.

This group supports men who have difficulty with abusive behavior in their relationships.  Participants are helped to examine their established beliefs and attitudes that lead to unhealthy relationships. As well, men receive information and healthy strategies that strengthen them to live a violence-free lifestyle based on respect, equality and responsibility in relationships.

Sign up for the program before February 4th. Information Night for this program is February 5th, 2018. All men must attend the information session and an interview to participate in the 16 week group.

16 weeks, meeting Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm, beginning February 12, 2018.

In partnership with community elementary schools, this group supports children, 6-10 years, with their healthy emotional and social development. The program provides children with fun, engaging activities with an emphasis on strengthening self-esteem, building friendships and making healthy choices.

This is an 8 week program. Currently this program is being run in partnership with a local school.

Recognize Strengths, Create Healthy Relationships, Make Positive Choices

The Teen Empowerment for Girls Program empowers teen girls to explore the social and personal challenges they face, increase their self awareness, and make healthy choices through fun, engaging activities and group discussion. The group gives teen girls a place to share what they know and figure out healthy options and solutions together.

The results are young women who are empowered for a positive future!

The Lloydminster Interval Home is happy to provide informative, activity based presentations on a variety of topics including Healthy vs Unhealthy Relationships, Friendship, Bullying, Personal Values, Self Esteem and more. Our presentations are adapted to many different age groups and audiences. Community Outreach Centre

The Community Outreach Centre is a space located in the Lloydminster Community Youth Centre building. We provide our Community Programming, Outreach Services and Child Wellness in this diverse space.
